Plaxiphora caelata (Reeve, 1847)

Plaxiphora caelata hat eine grau-braune Farbe, ist ca. 4,7 cm lang und 2,3 cm breit. Die Käferschnecke hat einen "haarigen" Gürtel.

Die meisten Käferschnecken sind herbivor und raspeln Aufwuchsalgen, aber auch andere sessile Organismen wie Schwämme, Moostierchen und Seescheiden von harten Substraten ab.
